In line with the solid tradition of the Arts and Design School of the University Jorge Tadeo Lozano, trains creative professionals, committed and proactive that adapt to the Digital Media evolution in a competent manner, in the development of interactive products in accordance with social and technological transformations. Professionals that contribute to the permanent construction of the Digital Media related theory and practice, by means of a significant impact in the industry of digital contents in production, academic and research fields.

That is how the professional of Interactive Design is capable of proposing solutions apart from the evolution of devices, formats and specific genres, adjusting himself / herself to the constant transformation of the Media taking into account aesthetic, socio-cultural, economic and technical elements.

This training emphasizes on creativity and innovation base on the Function: How does the user utilizes the product for a specific task or activity?); the Context (uses, relations, institutions, socio-cultural values that are reflected or transform the product); and the User, (person who has specific needs), according to the classification proposed by Janet Murray in her book “Inventing the medium: principles of interaction design as a cultural practice”.

The training involves strategies that enable the contact and participation of students in the projects developed for the production sector by creating lines of collaboration between the University and the business world, as well as the participation of students and the visualization of the projects in competitions or exhibits at national and international level.
