The International Relations program was created in 1958, becoming the first undergraduate program in the field in this region. We have obtained the High Quality Accreditation of the Ministry of National Education, by proving our commitment to excellence in teaching and research. Our curriculum allows students to choose one of the four areas of study according to their professional interests, such as Politics and Diplomacy, Current Affairs Analysis and the International System, International Economy and Government, and Public Management.
The program also promotes the use of foreign languages, offering disciplinary subjects taught in English, and four levels of a third language. Students have the possibility of engaging in different activities to strengthen their academic experience, such as academic research groups, debate competitions, and a wide offering of cultural activities and sports.
The International Relations program seeks to form professionals with a great level of understanding of current affairs, creativity and critical thinking, and is committed to the development of the country, and its better integration with the region and the world.
