The Public Accounting Program at the University Jorge Tadeo Lozano has a modern curriculum that integrates pedagogy and didactics so that the student learns and obtains sound knowledge about the processes related to the design, issue and analysis of the financial and non-financial reports addressed to different users and interest groups.
The training provided is up to date and according to these times of globalization and economic internationalization that require the application and development of international accounting. This is what makes us different and distinguishes us within other Public Accounting Programs.
The curriculum takes into account the business needs within the global context; therefore the student is prepared to work in those contexts, with sound knowledge about approaches regarding the norms and practices in the field of auditing and insurance, tax system, information and control.
Moreover, the accounting research seems to be considered the possibility of promoting in the students the ability to identify accounting problems and other problems that allow obtaining proper solutions for the benefit of the business and human development.
Of course, in the Program, the integral training of the students is key; it is intended that the students not only receive the necessary accounting knowledge but also the training that enables them for life and allows them to be prepared for the interactions with society, art, culture and nature, promoting in a permanently manner the cooperation and group spirit.
