Es Director y Productor de Nuevos Medios, Cine y TV y Curador de contenidos transmediales e Inmersivos, su formación es como Comunicador Social y Periodista de la Universidad del Norte de Barranquilla (Colombia), Máster en Diseño y Realización de Programas y Formatos de Televisión de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (España) -con beca de la Fundación Carolina- y Cursa el Doctorado en Comunicación de la Universidad Nacional de la Plata (Argentina).
Actualmente es Profesor Asociado y Director del CinemaLAB del Área de Cine y TV de la Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano, Productor Ejecutivo de Armadillo: New Media & Films y Director de #NarrarElFuturo: Festival de Cine CC & New Media Bogotá.
Ha sido jurado, curador y tutor de convocatorias y exhibiciones de contenidos documentales y de formatos digitales, inmersivos e interactivos como el Canada Media Fund, el Mercado de Coproducción de Señal Colombia, Crea Digital de Mincultura y Mintic, el Fondo de las artes, la cultura y la innovación, el Concurso Nacional de Proyectos de Nuevos Medios Audiovisuales de la Dirección del Audiovisual, la Fonografía y los Nuevos Medios, la Convocatoria Audiovisual de contenidos del Ministerio TIC, The International Conference on Interactive digital storytelling (ICIDS) entre otras en Colombia, Reino Unido, Argentina, Perú, Ecuador y Canadá.
En la actualidad produce los largometrajes documentales y proyectos transmedia “Granada: Relato de un Perdón” y “Todas las Flores” y produce y co-dirige el largometraje documental “Manos de Luz”. Recientemente ha dirigido “Chakero” (Ganador Muestra Diversidad FICCI/NETFLIX, Selección en FICCI, Cinelatino Toulouse, Biarritz, Alucine, Filmets, BSSF Brussels, +10 festivales) y “Muerte Lenta: El pueblo Uitoto acorralado por el mercurio” (Premio Nacional de Periodismo Simón Bolívar 2018, Premio Nacional de Periodismo Digital 2019, +20 festivales). Dirigió y produjo los documentales "Habitantes de Babel", "A la Calle 10", Produjo el documental interactivo “El Centro: Bogotá” y Dirigió el Magazín de TV "El Laboratorio".
En los últimos años se ha desempeñado como Líder de Cultura Digital y Medios Interactivos de la Dirección de Audiovisuales, Cine y Medios Interactivos (DACMI) del Ministerio de Cultura de Colombia, Tutor General y Coordinador de Contenidos del Proyecto “Cineastas 360”. Documentalista y Realizador Audiovisual del área de Gestión Territorial de la JEP, Jefe de Video en Revista Semana y Semana.com, como Profesor Asociado y Director del CrossmediaLab en el Departamento de Comunicación y Cinematografía de la Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano de Bogotá, como asesor del equipo de la Coordinación de Contenidos de la Autoridad Nacional de Televisión –ANTV- en temas de convergencia y nuevos medios, como Coordinador de Contenidos Digitales y Multimedia de la Alta Consejería TIC de la Alcaldía Mayor de Bogotá, como docente universitario en las Universidades de la Sabana, Externado, Agustiniana y Tadeo –donde creó el “CrossmediaLab”- en Bogotá y en la Universidad del Norte en Barranquilla donde también dirigió por varios años el Laboratorio de experimentación audiovisual "Uni5 TV" y como creador y director del Festival de Cine Creative Commons Barranquilla (2011 a 2013).

He is Director and Producer of New Media, Film and TV and Curator of transmedia and Immersive content, his training is as a Social Communicator and Journalist from the Universidad del Norte de Barranquilla (Colombia), Master in Design and Production of Television Programs and Formats from the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain) -with a scholarship from the Carolina Foundation- and is studying for a PhD in Communication at the National University of La Plata (Argentina).
He is currently Associate Professor and Director of CinemaLAB of the Film and TV Area of the University of Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano, Executive Producer of Armadillo: New Media & Films and Director of #NarrarElFuturo: CC & New Media Bogotá Film Festival.
He has been a jury member, curator and tutor of calls for and exhibitions of documentary content and digital, immersive and interactive formats such as the Canada Media Fund, the Señal Colombia Co-Production Market, Crea Digital de Mincultura and Mintic, the Arts Fund, the culture and innovation, the National Competition for New Audiovisual Media Projects of the Directorate of Audiovisual, Phonography and New Media, the Audiovisual Call for Contents of the ICT Ministry, The International Conference on Interactive digital storytelling (ICIDS) among others in Colombia , United Kingdom, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador and Canada.
He currently produces the documentary feature films and transmedia projects “Granada: Relato de un Perdón” and “Todas las Flores” and produces and co-directs the documentary feature “Manos de Luz”. He has recently directed "Chakero" (FICCI/NETFLIX Diversity Show Winner, Selection at FICCI, Cinelatino Toulouse, Biarritz, Alucine, Filmets, BSSF Brussels, +10 festivals) and "Slow Death: The Uitoto people cornered by mercury" (National Award of Simón Bolívar Journalism 2018, National Award of Digital Journalism 2019, +20 festivals). He directed and produced the documentaries "Inhabitants of Babel", "A la Calle 10", He produced the interactive documentary "El Centro: Bogotá" and Directed the TV Magazine "El Laboratorio".
In recent years he has served as Leader of Digital Culture and Interactive Media of the Directorate of Audiovisuals, Film and Interactive Media (DACMI) of the Ministry of Culture of Colombia, General Tutor and Content Coordinator of the "Cineastas 360" Project.
